What we collect when you sign up
Your name, business name, email and business type (pest control, food-safety consultant, or other).
The city you picked.
If you fill it in: phone number.
Your sign-up date and a record of your consent to get our emails (date, time, and the wording you agreed to). Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) asks us to keep this.
Payment details are handled by the payment provider when you pay. We see that you paid, not your card number.
What we use it for
To send you the daily alerts, run your account and billing, answer you, and tell you when a new city opens if you asked for that.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your information. We share it with the services we need to run this (our email provider and our payment processor), and just for that purpose.
This site has no ads and no tracking cookies, and loads nothing from other websites.
Your choices
Unsubscribe any time with the link in every email. Ask us to see, fix or delete your information by writing to hello@pestalerts.ca.
About the leads
The leads contain business names and addresses taken from public City inspection records. If you are a business owner and want a record removed from future emails, write to us.
